Tekno Telecom - NetQuest

Advanced Network Optimization, Inter-Connect Billing, and Converged Monitoring Solutions are being announced by Tekno Telecom for its NetQuest Network Monitoring System at NxtComm 2007.

NetQuest non-intrusively monitors telephony wireline, wireless and next generation network SS7, Sigtran, ATM, SIP, and IMS signaling networks to generate business intelligence and call/session detail records for:

-Troubleshooting
-Call Trace
-Protocol Analysis
-Quality of Service
-Inter-Carrier Billing
-Fraud Prevention
-Revenue Assurance
-Roamer Analysis
-Network Surveillance
-Billing Verification
-Security
-Etc.

Ultimately multiple organizations within a carrier can easily attain knowledge of what is occurring within their own networks and how it affects their customers, vendors, and inter-connected partners.

At NxtComm 2007 Tekno Telecom is presenting its latest solutions.

Automated Trunking and Link Optimization is now available that uses super accurate information captured from the SS7/Sigtran/SIP signaling network to allow carriers to efficiently design their networks with minimum infrastructure costs and optimal call completion ratios. Trunk and Link Forecasting tools will also tell carriers when they need to augment and allow for “what if” scenarios. Using these advanced technologies allows carriers to optimize their networks for maximum performance and quality of service with the least amount of costs.

Revolutionary is a description for Tekno Telecom’s latest product: NetInterConnect. Inter-Connect Billing today between telephony carriers is subject to 5-20 percent plus loss of profitability due to a multiplicity of billing anomalies including phantom traffic, bypass traffic, PIU/PLU improprieties and incorrect trunking or switch table translation errors. Tekno Telecom’s NetInterConnect uses signaling based CDRs from the network to accurately pinpoint the size of the anomalies and provides a path for revenue recovery in an OPEX ASP model. Carriers’ taking advantage of this technology report a return on investment in as little as two months. Most importantly NetInterConnect will generate sustained profits over time providing for incredible ROI.

NetQuest’s Converged Monitoring allows for the data acquisition, analysis, CDR Generation, and surveillance of SS7, Sigtran, SIP, and IMS within the same system feeding the same applications regardless of topology or protocols. NetQuest’s advanced correlation capabilities really tell the story of a call/session in a variety of formats that allow users to solve issues quickly and easily with a user-interface that allows for a converged view across multiple toplogies. Latency, interoperability, and the complexity of converged networks pose a new set of challenges for carriers. With NetQuest carriers will have the tools to solve issues as they arise and keep a network running with a high level of quality of service, prevent fraud, and most importantly running at its highest maximum profitability.
