Communications and entertainment heavy-hitters will take center stage on the opening day of NXTcomm, Tuesday, June 19, 2007.
The Tuesday opening keynote session will celebrate the broadband future, its promise and potential. Starting off the session will be AT&T Chief Operating Officer Randall Stephenson. Cisco Chairman and CEO John Chambers, head of one of the world's most respected and innovative equipment providers, will follow, and Federal Communications Commission Chairman Kevin Martin will be tackling a converging industry's difficult issues in a center-stage conversation.
A highlight of opening day will be a roundtable of the top technology officers from four of the world's leading integrated communications and entertainment service providers: Chris Rice, chief technology officer, AT&T; Mark Wegleitner, senior vice president of technology and chief technology officer, Verizon; Matt Bross, group technology officer, British Telecom; and Pieter Poll, chief technology officer, Qwest.
