Rx Networks' GPStream PGPS, SAGPS and SUPL – Synthetic Extended Ephemeris and Standard Solutions

GPStream Overview

SAGPS OverviewRx Networks’ GPStream PGPS™ (Predicted GPS) and GPStream SAGPS™ (Self-Assisted GPS) synthetic solutions consist of embedded device software and optional periodic network data updates, that enable any device to generate its own synthetic GPS assistance data. In contrast with existing chipset proprietary synthetic techniques, GPStream PGPS and SAGPS are chipset agnostic and can deliver consistent synthetic assistance data for autonomous, fast TTFF and high accuracy across any GPS-enabled device in a standards-friendly manner. When coupled with GPStream SUPL, Rx Networks’ implementation of the mobile industry standard for real-time AGPS, PGPS and SAGPS form the only fully-integrated dual-mode, real-time and synthetic solution for AGPS devices. For terminal vendors, mobile operators and enterprise service providers, this means a cost effective integration, the lowest network data overhead, consistent end-user experience and long-term support.
