High-speed wireless networks and broadband access are key drivers of the telecommunications market in Asia Pacific, which is the leading region for mobile television, according to the just-released TIA 2008 Telecommunications Market Review and Forecast. Despite already having the largest wireless subscriber base in the world at 1.3 billion in 2007, Asia Pacific is still adding more subscribers than it did during the first half of the decade.
