Grant Seiffert, President, TIAAn Invitation to Drive Innovation

Every year TIA members from around the country enjoy the opportunity to network and hear experts on key policy issues of the day at the annual Spring Policy Summit. This year’s members-only program is coming up quickly -- April 8, 2008, in downtown Washington, D.C.

I urge you to join us to keep yourself in the know and to energize your thinking.

The robust agenda is sure to stimulate your interest. Top government and industry speakers will cover a wide range of topics that are vital to today’s communications environment, such as emerging broadband technologies; the 2008 spectrum landscape; the new age of accessibility for disabled persons; and trade policy. We’re also delighted that many industry players are supporting the Summit as sponsors.

If you have attended in recent years, you will recall an intensive weekend of programming. Now, that is squeezed into one action-packed day.

Confirmed keynoters include the Ranking Member of the House Subcommittee on Telecommunications and the Internet, the Deputy United States Trade Representative and the Secretary of Agriculture. TIA has also assembled a distinguished gathering of information and communications technology experts to offer their views on policy trends.

This event is free for TIA members and invited government guests. Register at sps@tiaonline.org or call +1.202.346.3240.

I look forward to seeing you there!

Thank you,
Grant Seiffert
